Born in Columbus, OH and raised in Cleveland, OH, Sarah's acting debut was as a caterpillar where she successfully did the worm dance across a rather large gymnasium.

Though she took an acting sabbatical in Middle School, Sarah returned to the craft in high school after following her friend Victoria to the fall play auditions.

After discovering she was pretty good at emoting, Sarah acted on both amateur and professional stages throughout high school even toeing her way into some indie film work.

Sarah attended NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she studied Collaborative Storytelling and snagged a minor in Medieval Studies. She acted in NYU Gallatin's production of Hamlet, and then began pursuing her own work.

In 2014, Sarah founded the devised theatre and film production company, Tandem Bicycle Productions.

She wrote and directed TBP's inaugural production, The Bond, which premiered on the NYU stage before going on to the Manhattan Repertory Theatre's 1-Act Competition and the Riant Theatre's Strawberry 1-Act Festival, where it was a semi-finalist.

Also for TBP, Sarah wrote and directed a full-length, devised, site-specific roof-play called Above Us for the NYC International Fringe Festival where it sold out every performance and was called "gorgeous" and "relevant" by critic Michael Hartung.

Throughout her time at NYU, Sarah also began her work as a filmmaker. Sarah is based between New Orleans, Cleveland and wherever else her acting can take her.

She is also an avid traveler with four continents down and a freelance writer for Gizmodo, Bust, Mary Sue, Film Daily, and other outlets. IMDb Mini Biography By: Evlin Lake
