Stephanie is the daughter of a Scottish mother and an American father. In 2014, her directoral debut, See Seven States From Rock City received a filmmaking award from the Williamsburg Film Festival.
In 2015, the film also earned Stephanie a Best Actress Nomination and was awarded Best Original Score at the Atlanta Independent Film Festival.
