Afra Saraçoglu was born in Balikesir-Edremit, Turkey. After Ottoman Empire collapsed, her family is Turkish immigrants from Thessaloniki and Crete. She completed her primary and highschool studies in Antalya.
She started her literature education in Eskisehir University and in 2016, she intermitted her education to start her first acting career in a Turkish movie "Ikinci Sans".
In 2017, she started a role in a Turkish TV series called "Fazilet Hanim ve Kizlari" which is still currently on TVs, as the character called "Ece".
