The Gavin & Stacey actor and Clare, who share two daughters, were separated for roughly a decade before returning to the same home
However, Larry insists their arrangement is purely platonic, describing them as friends rather than a reunited couple
The 78-year-old, whose colourful romantic history includes three marriages and four lengthy relationships, said Clare has remained an extraordinary presence in his life
He previously credited her advice with helping him secure the role of Mick Shipman.
