Kate O’Flynn has opened the British winners’ list at the 2026 Primetime Emmys, claiming Best Supporting Actress for playing Patricia in Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay

The comedy horror series, created by Katie Dippold, follows a troubled island community beset by strange events and local legends

O’Flynn’s victory came during the ceremony at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theatre, where she was presented with the award by Amy Poehler

The show earned 19 nominations in its debut season

Co-star Matthew Rhys also won Lead Actor in a limited series for Netflix’s The Beast in Me.
