Radio 2 is searching for a permanent Drivetime presenter after Joel Dommett reportedly declined the £200,000 position
The Masked Singer host was approached after Sara Cox moved to breakfast following Scott Mills’s dismissal over historic sexual-assault claims, for which he was never charged
Reports suggest concerns about morale and management may have influenced Dommett’s decision, although the BBC rejects claims that the station is an unhappy workplace
Radio 2 has also lost prominent presenters including Chris Evans, Graham Norton, Ken Bruce and Zoe Ball.
