Lacey Turner is embracing a new challenge on Strictly Come Dancing while leaving the door open for a return to EastEnders
The actress, best known as Stacey Slater, said taking time away from the BBC soap has allowed her to enjoy life with her children and pursue interests outside work
Turner admitted she misses Stacey and hopes the character’s story will continue, although she is unsure when she might return to Walford
She also wants her Strictly appearance to encourage her children to face daunting opportunities with confidence.
