The BBC has announced a one-off Christmas special of Amandaland, arriving in December
Lucy Punch will reprise Amanda, the ambitious single mother who plans a lavish Christmas Eve gathering to impress her former school friend Millie, played by Daisy Haggard
Naturally, the supposedly high-end celebration descends into disorder
Phillipa Dunne returns as Amanda’s long-suffering friend Anne, alongside Joanna Lumley as her formidable mother
The previous festive episode attracted 7.4 million viewers, while the hit comedy’s third series is expected to begin filming early next year.
