Alison Hammond had to leave the This Morning studio during Friday’s programme after becoming unwell on air
The presenter was speaking with co-host Dermot O'Leary and television vet Dr Scott Miller when she appeared uncomfortable and was guided away from the sofa
Following an advert break, Dermot explained that Alison would not return for the remainder of the show
Viewers quickly shared their concern online, while ITV has been approached for comment
Alison has also recently returned to The Great British Bake Off alongside Noel Fielding and Nigella Lawson.
