Former TOWIE star Megan McKenna has revealed she was hospitalised with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) during IVF treatment
Speaking to Fearne Cotton on the Happy Place podcast, she explained that fertility medication caused her ovaries to become dangerously enlarged, while fluid gathered in her abdomen
Doctors had also found her womb lining was too thin for implantation
Following months of injections and treatment, two high-grade embryos survived thawing, with one successfully implanted
McKenna and footballer Oliver Burke welcomed their son in October 2024.
