PETA Takes Aim at I’m A Celebrity Halloween Campaign

PETA has renewed its criticism of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, targeting presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in a Halloween costume campaign

The £90 outfits portray the pair at a fictional animal-cruelty crime scene, highlighting the programme’s use of insects, reptiles and other creatures in Bushtucker trials

The organisation is urging ITV to remove live animals from the format and says proceeds will support its campaigns

ITV maintains that strict welfare procedures, qualified handlers and legal safeguards are in place during filming.
