Simon Pegg has revealed he was recently diagnosed with ADHD, saying the result helped explain difficulties he had previously viewed as personal failings
The actor, known for Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, sought answers after years of struggling with concentration and forgetfulness
He also recalled fidgeting as a child and once assuming ADHD only affected disruptive pupils
Pegg, who has spoken about depression and alcohol problems, said his wife has adapted to the diagnosis with understanding
Speaking to Paul Whitehouse and Dr Mine Conkbayir, he explained that public honesty about mental health had prompted a warm response.
