The 65-year-old House of the Dragon actor underwent chemotherapy after being admitted to hospital with a serious bowel blockage
He continues to use a stoma bag, which he hopes can eventually be removed, and says treatment was toughest for only a few days after each fortnightly session
Beale has since returned to the stage, first narrating a seated puppet production before taking on the role of Liberace at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
