Lily James attended the BFI London Film Festival with her mother and two brothers, who supported her at a screening of her new drama, *The Liberation*
The film casts her as Ricki, a spiritual leader running a remote commune, where a Holocaust survivor seeks to confront her past
James also shared a light-hearted glimpse of her exhausting evening, revealing she nearly nodded off in a hotel lift
The event follows an eight-month break in Cambodia, taken after years of back-to-back work left her feeling creatively drained
*The Liberation* is due in cinemas in January.
