Amol Rajan has described Maya Jama as a formidable, almost villainous force after becoming the first celebrity eliminated from The Traitors
The BBC journalist was removed by Maya and Richard E
Grant before the actor himself was banished at the opening round table
Maya later recruited James Acaster and Hannah Fry as fellow Traitors, only to find them reluctant to embrace the game’s ruthless strategy
Rajan admitted he was disappointed to leave so soon, while the BBC continues battling concerns that contestants could leak the closely guarded result.
