Martin Freeman made a rare public appearance with partner Rachel Mariam at the BFI London Film Festival
The couple, who began dating in 2020, attended the gala premiere of his new drama, *A Long Winter*
Freeman plays a father helping his family face a punishing season in the US mountains, in a film adapted from a 2006 short story
Mariam has appeared in BBC productions including *Normal People* and *This Way Up*, and is understood to have become close to Freeman’s children
The pair reportedly enjoy cooking together.
