BBC Look North presenter Peter Levy struggled to keep a straight face after making a suggestive joke about colleague Phillip Norton during Wednesday’s programme
Discussing a Dacia Sandero, the 71-year-old broadcaster used the car’s name to deliver a mischievous punchline before dissolving into laughter
Viewers praised his playful humour online, while joking that the producer or HR department might have words
Levy has form for on-air innuendo, having previously laughed over a parking-related remark and a saucy viewer email involving weatherman Paul Hudson.
