Sacha Baron Cohen attended Los Angeles’s Academy Museum Gala as his former wife, Isla Fisher, was also among the guests
Their 14-year marriage ended in 2024, with the divorce completed last year
The event came as Cohen faces criticism over his forthcoming film, *Ali G: Who Iz I?*, due in cinemas on 23 October
Campaigners have urged cinema chains to reject the mockumentary, arguing that Ali G reinforces racist stereotypes
Reports claiming Picturehouse had refused to screen it were later challenged, with the chain saying no booking decision had yet been made
Cohen has recently revived the character at public appearances.
