Sebastian Croft has spoken about the distressing school experience that led him to leave education at 16
The Heartstopper actor, now appearing on the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors, said a fellow pupil exposed a secret relationship between them, leaving him feeling isolated and bullied at his Oxfordshire boarding school
Croft described the contrast between school and acting as stark: performance gave him freedom, while returning to lessons brought renewed hostility
The 24-year-old began on stage before playing young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones, and later found international recognition as Ben Hope in Netflix’s Heartstopper.
