Matt Tebbutt has revealed he was furious after being dropped as host of MasterChef: The Professionals just one day before appearing on The One Show
The Saturday Kitchen presenter had been due to promote the spin-off, but declined when producers told him he would not return
Tebbutt replaced Gregg Wallace for the latest series, working alongside Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti
He said the timing was poorly handled, although he valued the experience and particularly enjoyed supporting the professional chefs competing under intense pressure.
