Escape to the Country presenter Nicki Chapman has told fans she is making steady progress after undergoing her fourth foot operation
The 59-year-old shared that she can now walk short distances, while wearing a medical boot and using a stick for support
Chapman has experienced ankle problems since her teens, including painful bone spurs, but said the procedures have helped her remain mobile and comfortable
Famous friends, including Vanessa Feltz and Nick Knowles, joined supporters in wishing her a smooth recovery
Chapman has also previously undergone treatment for a benign brain tumour.
