Claire Sweeney has reportedly withdrawn from eight performances as Miss Hannigan in the touring production of Annie, choosing instead to join this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! The shows at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre will be covered by drag performer La Voix, who previously played the role
The cast change has appeared on the theatre’s ticketing page, although it is unclear whether all customers have been contacted
Sweeney is also scheduled to perform in Bradford later this month, but cover for those dates has yet to be confirmed.
