James Lock has rejected a return to TOWIE, saying his ten years on the reality series had a damaging effect on his mental health
He also plans to avoid a proposed ITV spin-off in which former cast members would explore major life events with therapists
TOWIE producers maintain that extensive welfare and psychological support is provided
Lock is instead pursuing acting, taking a leading role in British gangster film *Killing Time* alongside Simon Callow and Alan Ford
He is also expanding his Lockie Fitness business ahead of what he expects to be a busy 2027.
