James Blunt has described Celebrity Traitors as an intense social experiment rather than a comfortable television appearance
The singer said contestants were isolated, closely monitored and deliberately unsettled before round-table votes, with music from The Hunger Games used to heighten the tension
Blunt, who reached the final before being banished, also claimed the cast had no room keys and could not use their hotel televisions to contact the outside world
He said the experience was difficult but rewarding, while Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft ultimately won the BBC series.
