Naga Munchetty has been seen leaving BBC studios after confirming her departure from BBC Breakfast
Following 17 years on the programme, she will take over the weekday breakfast slot on Radio 5 Live from January, succeeding Rachel Burden
Her move comes after reports that an internal review into alleged bullying and inappropriate remarks was quietly dropped
The appointment has been viewed as evidence of continued BBC backing, while her annual salary is reportedly between £360,000 and £364,999
Munchetty has also earned additional income through approved podcasts, speaking engagements and literary events.
