Shadrach

In 1935, 99-year-old former slave Shadrach asks to be buried where he was born into slavery - but that land is owned by Vernon (Harvey Keitel) and Trixie Dabney (Andie MacDowell), and to bury a black man on their property is a violation of strict Virginia law.
