The town of Interlaken makes a perfect home base for exploring the beautiful mountains of central Switzerland. There are about 100 hotels and guest houses and many fine restaurants and shops to keep you busy. Interlaken has great value as a practical tourist center with excellent rail and boat connections.

We also take a day-trip to Bern and Thun, two historic towns easily reached by train.
