Porterhouse Blue

In this classic British satire, fictional Porterhouse College in Cambridge is an anachronism; its students are all rich and male. When the headmaster dies, the government appoints as his successor an old graduate, the politician Sir Godber Evans.

He returns to his alma mater determined to drag this bastion of privilege into the 20th century, but the elderly academic staff close ranks against him.
