Sons of The Desert

From the digitally restored sound era films of the Hal Roach library: Hardy pretends to be ill in order for the two to sneak away and attend the "Sons of the Desert" convention in Chicago. A doctor, who is in fact a veterinarian, prescribes Hardy to take a long ocean voyage to Hawaii.

Laurel and Hardy are decked out in ukuleles, pineapples and leis on their return, only to discover their suppose
