American fighter pilot Jackson Cove has lost his flying privileges. Stationed in the Arabian Desert during WWI, he's tasked with rescuing a German double agent downed somewhere in the arid landscape.

With British nurse and German translator Eleanor at his side, Jackson walks straight into a sandstorm of deceit, confusion and danger, and he'll be lucky if he gets out alive.
