40 Pounds of Trouble

After escaping from his ex-wife in California, Lake Tahoe casino manager Steve McClusky finds himself as a chaperone for the hotel owner's beautiful niece, nightclub singer Chris, as well as Penny, the abandoned daughter of a debt-ridden gambler.

Soon charmed by his two charges, he risks crossing the Nevada border to take them to Disneyland where the trio must avoid his ex's private detectives.
