1995. Shoes is a bathroom attendant at an NYC strip club. His small world consists of tiled walls, a slick routine, drunks stumbling through, big tips, long shifts, and free shots.

On the night of his 3rd anniversary working the bathroom, he yearns for answers about his future while shaking down guests for tips as they come to complain, to dream aloud, and to spill secrets in his porcelain office.
