Dynin is the manager at a Soviet Young Pioneer camp who's afraid of taking responsibility, and thus enforces by-the-books rule on the children.
When one of the kids swims outside the designated area on his watch, Dynin ends up fired and now intends to hide in the camp not to return home and break the news to his mother.
