The film is a tale in between two kingdoms; Vichitrapuram, ruled by King Chitrasena (Mukkamala) and Kanchanapuram, ruled by Hiranyavarma. Chitrasena is interested in fancy items and he announces that whoever gets it will be given half of his kingdom.
