Echoes of the Past

Inspired by true event and told through a series of flashbacks, an acclaimed writer, Nikolaos Andreou (Von Sydow), recounts his childhood trauma during the Nazi invasion of Greece. A lawyer is assigned to handle a case on behalf of Germany and the two try to come to terms with a historical tragedy.
