After moving to Stevenage in the 1980's, Phil finds himself in a world of unemployment and violence and with no hope for his future. After the disappearance of his friend, Phil gets involved with Robert, an incompetent villain who's planning his next 'big job'.

Trapped in this dark world, the arrival of his attractive cousin acts as the catalyst for Phil to expand his horizons and plan his escape.
