Grand Theft Parsons

A psychedelic road-trip black comedy starring Johnny Knoxville, Christina Applegate and Michael Shannon, "Grand Theft Parsons" is based on the true story of country rock star Gram Parsons (Gabriel Macht), who died of an overdose in 1973 and made his road manager Phil Kaufman (Knoxville) promise to trek his remains across southern California to the Joshua Tree National Monument.
