T.J. is a boy genius who gets bumped up from the fourth grade to high school. T.J. tries to adjust to his new life, but he shares some classes with his 14 year-old brother Marcus, the school jock, and his clueless and self-absorbed 16 year-old sister Yvette.
T.J. skips grades and enters high school at age 10.
T.J. has trouble learning the ropes outside the classroom and pays the price for breaking 'The Code,' which states you never rat on a friend.
When twin sisters transfer to the school, he winds up dating both of them...sort of.
When Mo and T.J. are teamed up by their biology teacher to observe animal behavior, T.J. decides to watch his brother Marcus and sister Yvette.
T.J. earns a spot on the game show Knowledge College in the hope that his winnings will help defray household expenses, but the pressure may be too much.
Yvette is convinced T.J. is dying to go to prom, despite his protestations, so Floyd gets him a date--then Marcus gets him a date--then Yvette gets him a date.
