With his two best friends, Fish and Eli, Kirby navigates his eccentric town where the trio usually find themselves trying to get out of a predicament before Kirby's sister, Dawn, and her best friend, Belinda, catch them.
On his adventures Kirby is joined by his animated characters, like Macho Taco or Tri-Butt, which he imagines coming off the page and interacting with his world.
Kirby Buckets wants to enter a character design contest for a chance to meet his idol and get his character on TV.
The principal quarantines Kirby's class so the guys attempt to break out of the school.
Kirby learns of the legend of Prank Williams Jr.'s most outrageous prank that ever existed. While Kirby and friends search for instructions, Dawn manages to stay one step ahead.

Kirby fakes an illness to avoid getting graded on a project. The nurse believes Kirby's over-the-top symptoms and diagnoses him with P.U.P.P.I.E.S. - a supposedly fatal disease.
