When assigned to write and recite essays about their pets, Spot tries to pass Mr. Jolly off as his pet cat while Leonard writes about Pretty Boy.
Spot advances to the 5th grade but realizes it's more challenging than anticipated. After thinking Spot ran away, Mrs. Helperman sets up an electric fence.
After Leonard mentions to the cool kids he knows what lip gloss Leslie uses (because of what Spot told him), a rumor starts that Leonard and Leslie kissed!
When Spot needs a mother for parent-teacher night, he decides to pretend to be both Scott and Scott's mother at the same time!
Leonard's nervous to go to his first slumber party at Ian's house. Leonard struggles with bullies who make fun of his costume while Spot's true form is mistaken as a costume.
