Chimp Off the Old Block

Zoo keepers tend to a pregnant chimp, who is expected to give birth any day. Meanwhile, on the zoo’s grasslands habitat, vets undergo a high stakes mission to anesthetise and move a dangerous antelope. Then a beloved, elderly black bear develops a mystery illness that has all the zoo keepers worried.

Dr. Zoo-little

No day is the same at the North Carolina Zoo. C’sar, the oldest African bull elephant in North America keeps healthy practicing yoga. Silverback gorilla, Mosuba, is sent for emergency dental surgery. Head vet, Jb, conducts a quarantine exam on a deadly rattlesnake and zoo keepers desperately try to persuade their stubborn sand cats to mate.

Hiss and Hers

It’s baby season at the North Carolina Zoo. A white rhino is due to give birth, but first, the zookeepers must separate the mother from the rest of the animals. Meanwhile, two lions leave the pride, and a pair of cannibalistic snakes go on some risky dates!

Polar Bear Opposites

After several years of trying, the zoo is hoping for a polar-bear pregnancy as mating season approaches. Meanwhile, two critically endangered red wolves go on a blind date, and a much-loved elderly porcupine needs radical dental work. Plus, a young elephant receives some unusual medical treatment.

Giraffic Park

All creatures great and small live their best life at the North Carolina Zoo. A timid, young giraffe is welcomed into its new home, but there is a long way to go before it’s ready to meet the herd. Meanwhile, a pregnant vampire bat prepares to give birth, and devoted keepers give an epileptic chimp a better life.

Much Ado About Puffin

The doctors at the North Carolina Zoo are swamped! A huge alligator, with a history of illness, needs blood drawn, and a ferocious lioness goes under the knife to remove a cracked tooth. Additionally, zookeepers are anxious as two sets of inexperienced puffin parents prepare for their eggs to hatch.
