“Tehran” follows Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity.
After going rogue at the end of season two and reeling from the loss of her closest allies, in season three, Tamar must find a way to reinvent herself and win back the Mossad’s support if she is to survive.
Sultan will reprise her widely acclaimed role as Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, alongside returning stars Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi, and new additions Hugh Laurie, Sasson Gabai, Bahar Pars and Phoenix Raei.
Tamar Rabinyan enters the heart of Tehran to neutralize army radar systems and enable Israel’s air force to bomb Iran’s nuclear reactor.
Tabrizi, a local Mossad agent, tries to help Tamar in any way possible, while Revolutionary Guard officer Faraz is hot on Tamar's trail.
Hiding with her aunt, Tamar goes underground and attempts to escape Iran. Faraz and Tabrizi expand their searches for her.
When she finds a commune of young regime opponents, Tamar takes refuge with them—and grows close to Milad.
At an underground rave with Milad and the other commune members, Tamar must prove her loyalty. Faraz and Tabrizi reach a boiling point.
Tamar and Milad return to Tehran and blackmail their electric company contact. Kadosh tries to convince Gorev to approve Tamar’s new plan.
The incident at the commune leaves Tamar shattered. Kadosh tries to help her recover so they can initiate the power plant operation.
Season finale. With Israeli planes approaching the reactor, Tamar, Milad, and Kadosh launch an operation as Faraz closes in on them.
