Two LAPD officers patrol the streets of Los Angeles.
Martin Milner as Senior Officer Pete Malloy, and Kent McCord as his rookie partner, Officer Jim Reed, star in the series about two uniformed members of the Los Angeles Police Department. They are assigned to patrol car designated as ADAM 12. In "Log-One" Malloy, veteran of several years, plans to resign because he is torn up emotionally at the loss of his former partner killed by a robber's bullet. But on this day, Malloy is partnered with the very eager (but green) Reed, and events cause Malloy to reconsider his future.
Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) attempt to save two small boys who are victims of their mother's narcotic pills, and then pick up the trail of a burglar suspected of stealing color television sets in "Log 141," this week's episode of ADAM 12. After dispatching the youngsters to a hospital and arresting their mother (Natalie Masters), Malloy and Reed spot a long-sought burglary suspect. A chase on foot through an apartment compound finally traps the man (Ray Ballard) in a most unlikely predicament.
Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) are involved in a high-speed chase, a murder case, and a family dispute in Log-11 this week's episode of ADAM 12. The officers are tipped off to a murder, and Reed becomes upset when they must turn the case over to detectives after they find the dead body. But his search for excitement is realized later when they spot a "hot car" (stolen vehicle) containing two suspicious appearing men. Included in the cast are Robert Donner as Teejay, the informant, Bob Hastings as Beuhler and Eunice Christopher as Reba, the quarreling couple, and Jack Hogan as Detective Miller and Tony Gardner as Detective Hudson.
Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) help a woman whose baby is threatened by a deranged man, and they further protect a harassed woman from a spiteful neighbor in "Log-131," this week's episode of ADAM 12. The two officers must talk and act quickly as the deranged man (Zalman King) holds the baby in one arm and a gun in his free hand while the mother (Barbara Baldavin) stands by helplessly. They later help Mrs.Getz (Joan Shawlee) who is being harassed because she testifies against her neighbor's nephew in an assault case. Also in the cast are Arthur Gilmore as Lieutenant Moore, Bill Boyett as Sgt. McDonald and Vincent Beck as Clavor, the neighbor of Mrs. Getz.
Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) respond to a shooting in which a young officer is critically wounded and then must finish the night on routine calls, in "Log-91," this week's episode of ADAM 12. Officer Reed has a difficult time taking his mind off his academy colleague, Officer Stenzler (Richard Van Vleet), victim of a gunman, but carries on with Officer Malloy as they arrest a drunk driver, investigate a bar fight and catch a pair of car strippers. Others in the cast include William Stevens as Officer Walters, Bill Boyett as the sergeant, and Quentin Sondergaard as Lt. Moore
Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) go from a liquor store robbery to a car crash, and wind up their watch settling a family dispute in "Log 161," this week's episode of ADAM 12. When they arrive at the scene of the crash, the officers find a young woman (Eve Brent) pinned under her car about 70 feet down a brush entangled hillside. Evidence indicates she had a small child with her, and their next step is to initiate a search. The cast includes Don Hammer (cg), liquor store victim, George Fisher as a robbery suspect, and Paul Carr and Anne Whitfield as Whitley and Vera, a quarreling couple.
