An adopted boy is diagnosed with leukemia and only his biological father can save his life.
Ernesto and Elena seek to save the life of their adoptive son Nico since he suffers from leukemia, so they need to locate Nico's real mother, but they find Pedro, who, although he does not believe he is the biological father, is tested for DNA.
Ernesto is jealous of the relationship that is born between Pedro and Nicolas, he is upset to see that Esther wants to meet her grandson, so she demands that Pedro not have any type of relationship with his son.

Elena no longer supports Ernesto's claims, so she agrees to end her friendship with Pedro for the good of Nicolas and her marriage. Pedro ends with Gina. Nicolas' bone marrow transplant is a success.
