Based on a series of children's books written by Mélanie Watt, this animated series features Scaredy, a creative, offbeat squirrel who is learning to be comfortable in his own fur.
Scaredy tackles every challenge that is thrown at him with his trademark dorkiness, but he has a self-confidence that makes him cool.
When Scaredy tries to hide a stain by wearing someone else's uniform, he is mistaken for 'Bob' by his customers, coworkers and scareiest of all, the Library Police. Then, Scaredy is positive he can win the Paddleball tournment against Paddy Patterson, until a cowlick in his hair shakes his confidence.
Scaredy becomes obsessed with a coin after his best friend, Dave, finds a penny and good things start to happen. Scaredy risks his relationship with Dave when he tries to hide the fact that he lost the penny. Then, Scaredy and Dave realize there is more to Nestor's job than just being mean when they try to run the store for a day without rules.
Scaredy wins a pass to visit the world famous Paddle Dogs paddleball team in the locker room after the game, but when Dave uses the pass without Scaredy, their friendship becomes bumpier than a paddleball without an elastic. Then, Scaredy loses his pet plant Richard, only to find he has been living with Sally Fishlips.
Scaredy uses Sally Fishlips as protection from a bully but must learn to defend himself and stand up to Rex on his own. Then, Scaredy gets frustrated trying to teach Paddy Patterson what sharing is all about when they have to team up and buy a new Golden Paddleball together.
Scaredy's ears get blocked with water, and as a result he loses his job as head stacker at the Stash N' Hoard. Scaredy tries a number of new jobs, but nothing's as awesome as a good stack. Then when Scaredy saves Sally's life, she declares herself his life-long-life-improving-helper trout. Yeeesh!
Momma decides the store needs to be fancier, so Nestor replaces Dave's favourite coin-operated fire truck with a fancy teacup ride. Scaredy vows to get rid of the fancy and get his friend's fire truck back. Then, Scaredy gets tricked into competing in the Mr. Perfect Balsa Pageant against 3-time winner, Paddy Patterson.
