Returning for a second attempt at the Hatton Garden safe deposit vault, the gang, now led by Terry Perkins, attempt to finish what they started. The thieves must obtain new equipment and get back into the building, but time is getting tight with the bank holiday weekend slipping by. And bitter disagreements now mean they’re down two members.
When the Met Police Flying Squad discover the burglary after the long Easter weekend, the gang already have a two-day lead on them. The thieves are desperate to divvy up the proceeds and split, but more delays frustrate them. Once news of the raid breaks, it’s not just the police who are after them; Reader—who didn’t turn up for the second night—also wants a share.
