Series from 2009
Reeling from a breakup, Sally (Morven Christie, Grantchester) jumps at the chance to relocate with her company-even if it's with her incompetent boss …
Butterworth's, a national supermarket chain, has moved its head office to Leeds, and its staff are adapting to their new location. Sally, the PA to Christine, the head of Human Resources, is also adapting to a broken engagement.
Sally is shocked to learn that there's a complaint of sexual harassment against Steven, and her friendship with him is severely tested. Christine, newly inspired by her AA attendance, sets about implementing various morale-boosting initiatives.
Max is made acting head of marketing and brings in a former Wimbledon doubles finalist to promote a new healthy food line, later learning that he is Natasha's brother. Meanwhile, a blog has appeared in Roger's name, spreading various office rumors.
Alyson brings in an old PR associate when Roger makes an inappropriate comment about Butterworth's products. Steven and Sally end up alone together, but their moment is ruined by a call from Alyson. Roger ends up bar-crawling with graduate trainees.
Sally's in a bad way-it's the day that she would have married Michael, and she receives flowers from him with an apology. She's also fed up that Christine has volunteered her for a job swap, leaving Christine with Gillen from the bakery.
Roger is excited that his wife has finally come to visit, but his office tour is interrupted by an unwelcome visitor. Meanwhile, Christine starts a clinical trial for a drug that suppresses the desire to drink, and Sally tries to avoid Steven.
