Phantom Thief Joker is the miracle maker who hunts for the world's treasures! This time, he's after the Dragon Gem. Joker infiltrates the Kaneari mansion, where he meets rookie burglar Hachi, who's after the same treasure he is.
Joker and Hachi (now officially Joker's apprentice) have decided their next target will be the "Recollection of Napoleon". The treasure is hidden within the 100-year safe, which opens only once every century.
Joker and Hachi infiltrate Kaneari's private luxury liner to steal the "Mermaid's Crystal" on board. There, the mysterious Phantom Thief Spade and Joker's old training partner, King appear.
Joker is after the "Ice Sculpture of Odin", which is on display on the 88th floor of a skyscraper known as the Valhalla Tower. When Joker learns that Spade is after the same treasure, he gets even more determined, saying, "I can't lose to him of all people!"
While cleaning Joker's room, Hachi discovers a key that belonged to Joker's father. The episode then flashbacks to Joker's childhood when his father challenged him to find the key that was hidden somewhere in the family mansion.
The news reports that Joker as been performing brutal, forceful robberies at art museums all over the world. Joker doesn't remember doing any of this, and attempts to head off his impostor, who seeks to steal the Gemini Crown, at the Moonlight Grand Hotel.
