Darknet is a "serialized-anthology." Each episode contains up to four individual stories that occasionally intersect with one another and with stories and characters in other episodes.
One of the key concepts of the show is how technology and the internet are making everything in the world more and more connected, including the dark and dangerous things that are out there.
A woman on the subway is oblivious of the terror around her; a man finds strange objects.
A cop interrogates a woman about a murder; a man hunts for the source of a troubling noise.
A salesman gets into a bizarre race. A young woman applying as a nanny undergoes a terrifying interview. A phone installer shows up at an apartment, setting off a shocking chain of events. An online service gives its clients more than they bargained for.
A mentally frail woman attacked in her home ends up in hospital.
This episode is comprised of one single story. A young office worker new to the city finds a black postcard with only a date written on the back. The date is three days away. As the date draws closer, the woman is emailed a series of scary videos that seem to show people being murdered. Is this just some sick joke or something far darker?
A driver is led off track by his GPS; two teenagers learn the real danger of the Internet.
