The love between Isabel and Fernando will face many trials when she, for fear of a curse, refuses to follow her instincts.
It's Isabel's birthday and she still believes that the curse that was thrown at her eighteen’s party still haunts her, Zoe tries to convince her that the misfortunes that have suffered the men who date her are coincidence.
Isabel meets Fernando and because of a confusion they end up fighting. Zoe suffers a breakup and tries to commit suicide. Some men assault the store where Isabel is, Fernando appears and both end up locked in the cellar fighting again.
Fernando is upset for Isabel’s serenade and accidentally throws a pot on Poncho’s head. Cecilio manages to save Zoe. Isabel warns Poncho of her curse and asks him to stay away from her.
Fernando discovers that Isabel is the teacher of his daughter Marisol and is helping her to find Juancho. Marisol decides to show her dad that she is not immature and goes to Acapulco looking for Juancho, but he goes to the city looking for her.
Fernando and Isabel try to find Marisol, but they are stranded on the road. Marisol escapes from an abuser and tries to seek help, but the police arrest her believing she is a vagabond.
Fernando exposes the jokes that Poncho makes about Isabel's intimacy. Willy does everything he can to see Lucia again. Isabel gets trapped in an elevator with Fernando's daughters and one of them goes into crisis.
